MOSNEL
In the heart of Franciacorta, in Camignone, there is the centuries-old residence with the sixteenth-century cellars and the annexed lands, which testifies to the long winemaking tradition that the Barboglio family inherited in 1836. This vocation was developed thanks to the intuitions of Emanuela Barboglio with the planting of the first specialized vineyards and in 1968 with the adoption of the newborn Franciacorta DOC. From 1976 the name "Azienda Agricola Barzanò Barboglio" was abandoned for the current "Mosnel", a dialectal toponym of Celtic origin which means stony ground, heap of stones, on which the company stands. At the helm of Mosnel is the fifth generation of winemakers, the sons of Emanuela Barboglio: Giulio Barzanò who follows the technical, production and commercial aspects; while Lucia Barzanò deals with marketing, external relations and administration. The family avails itself of the collaboration of a highly trained staff and highly experienced agronomist and oenologist consultants who constantly follow the production and its evolution.
