Italian Wine Shop
RINALDINI
The farm was founded in the late sixties by Rinaldo Rinaldini, who at the time ran a renowned restaurant with his family. The love for the land and for wine led the family to be winemakers. Thanks to technique and curiosity, it was decided to save ancient vines, otherwise condemned to extinction. Even today, the business has maintained its family character, in fact Paola Rinaldini with her husband Marco Melegari and son Luca takes care of the entire transformation cycle, from grape to bottle. The winery was created from an old farmhouse dating back to 1884 which stands in the center of the vineyards located between the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Parma. The production derives exclusively from the owned vineyards covering 15 hectares, which are grown on alluvial mixed gravelly soils, with spurred cordon, with a high density of vines per hectare and with a low production yield.
