Maison Hardy owes its name to an authentic English gentleman, Anthony Hardy! From 1863 to the present, Maison Hardy is a story full of passion and professionalism ... Like any conscientious merchant in wine and spirits, Hardy liked to get out of London as often as he could and make his way to Charente to check on the progress of the best crus of Cognac. Eventually he succumbed to the charm of the region in 1863, moving permanently and founding Maison Hardy. As a sign of his great affection for France and the French, he went so far as to adopt the Gaulish form of his given name, henceforth known as Antoine Hardy. He has also adopted the iconic French cockerel as his company emblem.

Today, Bénédicte Hardy represents the fifth generation of Hardy Cognac producers, where passion, quality and history come together to produce something extraordinary.
