The birth certificate of the Mandois vineyard dates back to 1735 when the family decided to become owners of vineyards in Champagne. At that time, Jean Mandois, a contemporary of Br. Oudart, owned and worked some plots on the hills of Epernay.
This long family history experienced a real revolution in 1860, when Victor Mandois (great-grandson of Jean), forerunner and visionary, decided to vinify and market Champagne wines in Epernay.
Thanks to the passion of Victor and the following generations who have been inspired by his work, Champagne Mandois is now present all over the world and its notoriety places it among the great Maisons of Champagne.
