The company was founded in 2001 in the "Quarticello" area of Montecchio Emilia when Roberto Maestri discovered his passion for viticulture and decided to become a farmer. Following various experiences in the cellar, in 2006 he began vinifying his own grapes and producing the first sparkling wines with natural refermentation in the bottle. Quarticello is located in Val d'Enza, on the Reggio bank of the stream of the same name that divides the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Parma, at the foot of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the hill is covered with vineyards and everything has the right time to ripen , the management of the vineyard is carried out with full respect for the territory, using only copper and sulfur to protect the vine, and using only natural organic substances for fertilization
