Cantina della Volta was born from the century-old experience of the Bellei family, wine entrepreneurs in Bomporto di Modena since 1920, of which the winemaker Christian represents the fourth generation in business. The company is located in the original building of the Cantina Bellei, built by Christian's great-grandfather near the embankment of the Naviglio di Bomporto, near the eighteenth-century Darsena, the place where the boats had to make "the turn" on their route to resume navigation towards the city of Modena. This place rich in meaning and history is responsible for the symbol of the river boat and the company name of the Cantina della Volta
