    DISTILLATION AND REFINING Dictador 12 years rum is a Colombian rum produced by the fermentation of pure cane juice, distilled partly with steel column stills and partly with discontinuous copper alembic, an option that allows to obtain a medium body rum, ages in barrels oak with the Solera method, a method that "turns" different rums between 8 and 14 years, with a final average of 12. The rum is then diluted in bottle with demineralized water and left to rest for a period of 28 days
