PRODUCTION Only two Chartreuse monks know the identity of the 130 plants that are mixed and distilled in this famous liqueur. They are also the only ones who know which plants need to macerate to produce the natural green and yellow colors. And they control the slow aging in oak barrels by themselves. In 1984 the Chartreuse Liqueur of the 9th Centenaire was produced for the first time, of course, this did not happen without a reason: the 900th anniversary was celebrated, anniversary of the foundation of the Carthusian Order, the design of the Gentleman is inspired to 18th century bottles
A PIECE OF ADVICE… Perfect as a digestive or as a base for a good long aperitif drink
