Bronner and Souvignier Gris are vines created in 1975 at the Friborg Institute of Viticulture and are a cross between the European vine (Vitis Vinifera) and Vitis Labrusca. It is a variety with strong resistance to the main pathogenic fungi (such as powdery mildew and downy mildew) and qualitative characteristics typical of the noble European vine. Among all the "PIWI" varieties (cryptogam-resistant vine) it is certainly the most interesting and is spreading very well due to its excellent qualities. The official registration in the national catalog of viniferous grapes took place in 2009. Thanks to its natural resistance to pathogenic fungi, the Piwi vines offer the real possibility of rediscovering the gifts of the land free from any form of treatment. Among the vineyards you can find tall grass, plants and animals that live in harmony in a balanced ecosystem
