Checo is the Amarone della Valpolicella. It reflects the taste of the cellar, but at the same time takes up the traditional flavors and aromas of Amarone della Valpolicella.
One could not but dedicate this Amarone to his grandfather Francesco, called Checo dei Merli by everyone. He dedicated his life to the cultivation of vines and the production of excellent wines. Grandpa and his teachings are a great point of reference for us.

VINIFICATION AND REFINING The slightly over-ripe grapes are harvested manually in October. After drying for about 100-120 days they are pressed and fermented in steel tanks for about 30-40 days. During the fermentation period, daily pumping and delastage are performed manually. It refines about 4/5 years in small second and third passage French oak barrels

A PICE OF ADVICE… Tasty dishes, grilled red meats, roasts, game, stews, seasoned and very tasty cheeses. Also excellent at the end of a meal and for meditation
