- For about 21 days, small pieces of bark of China Calissaia and China Succirubra are left to macerate in an infusion of alcohol and a very small quantity of the “classic” Barolo, then a mixture of flavoring spices is added including gentian root, rhubarb, cardamom seeds, sweet and bitter orange, cinnamon and others, which make up the “historic” Family Recipe. Finally, the right amount of “classic” Barolo is added to the aromatic extract thus obtained, a little sugar and alcohol and it is left to refine for at least 4 months in small stainless steel containers, finally it remains still in the bottle for another 2 months
- On the palate it is fresh, sweet and structured with a bitter finish, and is particularly appreciated as a meditation elixir
